I can so relate. I just planted my garden tonight. I've brought in load after load of topsoil the past few summers to try to get some sort of growing medium, because I have that lovely clay also!
I don't think I've ever seen clay cracked because of too much rain. Oy! Here's hoping that things turn around.
Heard my neighbours taking out front tonight, wondering if they could get the lawn cut before it rained. The one observed that my car windows were up, so it wasn't going to rain (I've left them down countless times in the last few weeks). So I'm going to make sure my windows are up, just for you!
